Wind Energy Museum

Bob Morse’s unique collection of wind engines. Such engines used to be seen all over England, but now only one or two remain in situ.

There is a working scoop wheel showing how pumping was done by this arrangement.

In addition, there is a fine London Docks Derrick Crane, a steam Sterilising machine, models of Norfolk Mills, and the last existing Holmes steam engine, with turbine attached.

Opening times - see calendar: To see all events, pull the scrollbar down and up several times or press "look for more" repeatedly.
