Tarred clunch four storey tower mill built in 1820 and worked commercially until 1957. After several years of neglect it was acquired by the Burwell Mill Trust who rescued it in 1972. It is now part of the adjacent Burwell Museum site. In 2013 a Heritage Lottery Grant funded a major restoration programme, and the mill now has four sails once again and working machinery. Museum volunteers are currently completing repairs to the cap so the mill will wind, and during this work access to the cap floor may be restricted. Opening times - see calendar: To see all events, pull the scrollbar down and up several times or press "look for more" repeatedly. The Mill is part of Burwell Museum and access is via the museum. Open 1100-1700 every Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday and most Thursdays from Easter to the end of October. See web site for up to date details.
